Job Description: We are currently hiring a Social Media Manager to oversee and execute our organization’s social media strategy. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our online presence, engaging our audience, and promoting our cause. You will have the opportunity to develop creative content, manage social media channels, and drive impactful campaigns that raise awareness and support for our non-profit organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Create engaging and compelling content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and voice across all channels.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports to optimize social media campaigns.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, stories, and updates for social media promotion.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends, and propose innovative strategies to reach our target audience effectively.
  • Utilize social media advertising and fundraising tools to maximize reach and impact.
  • Work with external partners and influencers to amplify our social media presence and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative social media strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus.
  • Passion for our organization’s mission and a deep understanding of social issues.
